Ultrasonic anti-fouling system for Hull protection

Marine biofouling on ship hulls can rapidly accumulate, leading to reduced vessel speed, increased fuel consumption, and compromised operational efficiency. Given that fuel costs account for 60-70% of operating expenses for many ship operators, providing additional hull protection beyond standard antifouling coatings is crucial.

ENV Sonic collaborates closely with ship operators to deliver customized ultrasonic hull protection solutions tailored to address biofouling challenges

Advantages of the Ultrasonic Full-Ship Protection System:

  • One-time investment with up to 10 years of full-ship protection, achieving up to 15% energy-saving efficiency;

  • High reliability, low maintenance, easy installation, and fully automated operation;

  • Customized designs to accommodate diverse operational modes.

Marine portable cleaning robot

1.Magnetic Adhesion Track Walking System

  • Utilizing magnetic adhesion technology, it can firmly adhere to the vertical/curved hulls with stability.

  • The track design combines mobility flexibility with load-bearing capacity, and is suitable for complex hull structures.

2.Dynamic Operation Capability

  • Supports real-time operations of vessels at a speed of ≤ 10 knots (approximately 5.14 m/s)

  • Enables continuous maintenance during navigation, saving time for maintenance at the port.

3.Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Benefits

  • Regular cleaning can reduce the ship's resistance by 15-20%

  • Correspondingly, fuel consumption can be reduced by approximately 6%, and the annual fuel cost savings can reach tens of thousands of US dollars

  • CO₂ emissions can be simultaneously reduced, meeting the IMO energy efficiency index (EEXI) requirements

4. Human-Machine Collaboration Mode

  • Supports dual modes of remote control and autonomous operation

  • Modular design facilitates replacement and cleaning of the brush head (hard bristles/soft brush) and detection module

  • IP68 protection level, suitable for harsh marine environments

This equipment has been applied to various ship types including bulk carriers, oil tankers, and LNG carriers. Its typical cleaning efficiency can reach 2000-3000㎡/h, which is more than five times higher than that of traditional manual cleaning and avoids the risks of working at heights and underwater.

Hydroelectric energy-saving device

Pre-Shrouded Vanes(PSV) + Hub-Vortex Absorbed Fins+High-Efficiency Propeller Integrated Energy-Efficient Propulsion Solution,The system significantly optimizes water flow, reduces vortex-induced energy losses, and consequently enhances propulsion efficiency, leading to 3%-10% reduction in both vessel energy consumption and emissions.

1.Pre-Shrouded Vanes(PSV)

Installed in front of the propeller, it uses guide vanes to pre-swirl the incoming flow (adjusting the direction of water flow), enabling the water to enter the propeller at a more suitable angle, thereby reducing turbulence and energy loss.

Application Scenarios: Commonly used in large merchant ships or vessels with high energy efficiency requirements.

2.Hub-Vortex Absorbed Fins

Installed at the stern or around the propeller, these fins with specific shapes disrupt the vortex structure generated by the propeller, thereby suppressing cavitation (vacuum phenomenon) and vibration.

3.High-Efficiency Propeller

Through optimizing the geometric parameters of the propeller (such as blade section shape, pitch, diameter, number of blades, etc.), combined with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and model tests for design, higher propulsion efficiency is achieved.

4.Can provide shipowners with supply, construction, commissioning of the integrated solution.

Suction Sail

Econowind's VentoFoil propulsion units harness wind energy to generate thrust, either by increasing vessel speed or reducing main engine load, thereby decreasing fuel consumption. Depending on vessel type and the number of units deployed, fuel savings and emission reductions of 5%-40% can be achieved.

The VentoFoil utilizes an integrated suction fan to create a low-pressure zone on one surface, generating propulsion force through the resulting pressure differential across the foil. In aerodynamics, this phenomenon is termed the boundary layer effect. Under typical wind conditions, the system delivers three times the energy density of conventional passive sails.
